How to get your Adsense pin!
Every time I go to pick up a Google AdSense PIN, I notice hundreds of AdSense PINs that have been abandoned at the post office. Some have been there for over a year. Some even longer.
And each time I see them, I keep wondering whether many people simply do not know how to collect theirs.
What that also means is that there are several AdSense accounts with money sitting there, yet the owners cannot access it simply because their PIN is still lying unclaimed at the post office.
I feel like this should be very basic, but let me quickly show you how to get your AdSense PIN without stress.
After requesting your PIN, do not expect anyone to call you to come and pick it up. Google does not include your phone number on the envelope, so the postmasters usually have no way to contact you.
In many cases, the PIN arrives within about three weeks or even earlier. It is your responsibility to go and check for it yourself, especially in Nigeria where many houses do not have proper mailboxes for direct delivery.
What you need to do is simple. Visit the post office closest to the address you used on your AdSense account and ask if your AdSense PIN has arrived. They will usually ask for your name and address, then check for you. There is a high chance that your PIN is already there waiting.
The important thing is this: it must be the post office that covers the address you used on AdSense.
For instance, if you live around Oshimili South Local Government, your AdSense PIN will most likely be at the post office within that same local government, around the Grand Hotel Asaba axis. If your address is in Idemili North, you may find it at the post office around Nkpor Spare Parts Market. If your address is in Onitsha North Local Government, you may need to check the post office around New Market Road.
This same principle applies across Nigeria.
As long as the PIN was not delivered directly to your address, there is a good chance it is sitting at the nearest post office connected to the address you submitted.
