Market Saturation in Africa

on the subject of market saturation in Africa, those of you who constantly rant about how a particular business or sector is “saturated,” how exactly do you determine that it is saturated?

Because the last time I checked, many of you don’t even have a product that five people actively use in those sectors. So, how exactly did you arrive at your conclusion?

I honestly don’t think there is any sector in Africa, including what Dangote is doing, where anyone has completely nailed it and left everyone else behind.

Even the best banks are getting serious competition from OPay, and OPay only came into the game a few years ago.

It’s just lazy thinking to believe that nobody can come along and do something better.

In Africa, there is still massive room for innovation in almost every sector.

No sector is saturated. It all depends on your level of creativity and product value that determine how fast your product can scale.
