Not many people know of this feature that has existed in my IPhones since 2022– only use this if you think you’re being targeted.
Apple was so sure no one can crack this, to the point that they set a $2m bounty for anyone who cracks it, up till tomorrow the money still remains unclaimed.
A while ago, FBI raided a journalist, they tried and tried they couldn’t extract data from the phone. They cried.
Normal iPhone security features are for criminals, lockdown mode is for governments — but Apple won’t tell you this.
Tools like Cellebrite and Greykey cannot extract details from a phone on lockdown mode, because lockdown prevents the iPhone port from accepting anything when it’s locked/off, so no matter what they do, they can’t access it.
