CHECK UP ON YOUR FRIENDS

CHECK UP ON YOUR FRIENDS BUT GENUINE ONES MATTERS MORE THAN YOU THINK

We are all so busy, work, deadlines, family, hustle, life is happening fast for everyone.

But in between all the busyness, when was the last time you genuinely checked up on a friend? Not the "how far" on WhatsApp status, but a real "How are you truly doing or a call.

Many of your friends are fighting silent battles. They are smiling on LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and other social media posting wins, but struggling behind the scenes. Some are dealing with rejection, debt, depression, job loss, or just feeling lost.

And sometimes, all they need is one person to check up on them.

Friendship is not just about hanging out when things are good. It's about showing up in the quiet moments too.

That friend who used to post every day and suddenly went silent check up on them.
That strong friend who is always supporting everyone check up on them.
That friend who said I'm fine too quickly check up on them again.

A simple hey, I was thinking about you today, hope you're okay can save someone from a very dark day. You have no idea how powerful that little message is.

We celebrate birthdays, promotions, and wins, which is great. But let's also normalize checking up when there is nothing to celebrate just because we care.

Life is too short to assume people know you care. tell them, show them.

Today, I challenge you: send that text. Make that 2-minute call.
Visit that friend but genuine ones you haven't seen in a while.

Don't wait until you hear bad news to remember someone exists.

Checking up on people, your friends is more than you think.

And if you're that person waiting for someone to check up on you -this is me checking up on you. How are you really doing?

Let's be intentional about our friendship it's not all about laughing and cruising.
