The reality of this Century

SO PROFOUND... AND SO TRUE!_ !!!!!!!

When television came into my home, I forgot how to read a book.

When the car parked at my door, I forgot how to walk.

When I held a cell phone, I forgot how to write a letter.

When the computer arrived, I forgot how to spell.

When the air conditioning was installed, I stopped looking for the shade and breeze of a tree.

Living in the city, I forgot the smell of wet earth.

Handling cards and bank accounts, I forgot the true value of money.

With artificial perfumes, I forgot the scent of fresh flowers.

With fast food, I forgot the flavors of traditional dishes.

Always in a hurry, I forgot how to stop.

And since WhatsApp, I’ve forgotten how to truly talk.

When we die, our money stays in the bank.
And yet, while we’re alive, we’re often short of it.

Cruel irony: after we’re gone, large sums are often left behind, unused.

A great Chinese businessman died, leaving 1.9 billion dollars to his widow.
She married... his driver.
The driver said:
- For years, I thought I was working for my boss... and today I realize he was the one working for me.

The reality is harsh:

It’s better to live long than to own much.

So we should protect what’s most precious: our health.

On a top-of-the-line phone, 70% of the features go unused.

In a luxury car, 70% of the performance and gadgets are useless.

In a lavish mansion, 70% of the space isn’t occupied.

In our closets, 70% of the clothes are never worn.

In a lifetime of work, 70% of the earnings benefit... others.

So, let’s learn to cherish our remaining 30%:

- Get health check-ups, even if you feel fine.

- Drink water, even if you’re not thirsty.

- Let it go, even when facing big problems.

- Know how to yield, even if you’re right.

- Stay humble, even in success.

- Be content with what you have, even if it’s not much.

- Take care of your body and mind, even if you’re very busy.

- And above all... make time for the ones you love.

- Take care of your friend.

Thanks ✍️
