You don't necessarily need to visit any court to process this.

And yes, there is an official Federal High Court online portal where you can initiate the process from the comfort of your home using your phone or laptop.

A lot of Nigerians still don't know this exists.

No more unnecessary movement just to begin the process.

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide on how to get started. 👇👇

1. Go to https://portal.fhc.gov.ng/index

Enter your details correctly, verify your account, then log in.
 
2. After logging in, proceed to your dashboard.

Go to Profile first and update your personal information before starting any application.

3. Complete all the required information carefully.

Upload your passport photograph and valid ID, then save your details.

Once that’s done, return to the homepage.
 
4. Select the first available option and choose New Application.
You should see the different affidavit services available.
Choose the affidavit you need and follow the instructions to complete your application.

5. After completing the process, your affidavit will be sent to your email.
You can save the PDF or print a physical copy when needed.
